When I envisioned TerraChronica, I had a couple famous fantasy worlds in mind, like Middle Earth or Westeros. These worlds followed a certain pattern. They are made up of continents and regions as well as nations and cities. By building a structured world, you can take advantage of TerraChronica's built-in relationships to make navigation in your world easier. For example, every nation has cities, and you can link nations to cities.
On the other hand, I don't want anyone to be bogged down by the patterns of other worlds, so you can also make free worlds. A free world is a world with records, each record is independent of all the others. There are no links. These worlds may be more difficult to navigate, but they offer complete freedom.
