A scattered group of interconnected cultures that lived in the Belbösu mountains before the Maginian Empire. It is a mysterious group that existed prior to written history. Everything that we know about these people is through oral tradition that found its way into Maginian texts in the libraries of Little Beshibu. It is likely that many more of these manuscripts were lost in the Burning of the Three Cities.
In their prime, this civilization swept over a majority of the mountains, but since their unexplained destruction, only a few fragments of the strong community still remain. Most of these little communities hold out in Lavuest, isolated from the rest of the world. During their occupation of the Magi, the Sabedorians had an intense interest in these small groups, because they often clung to the ancient ways of their ancestors, and the Sabedorians thought that they may hold some answers to the many questions about the Mountain Men's way of life.
