The Outer North are those regions that once constituted the realm of Hyperborea, mankind's birthplace. Once a fertile, lush forest-land that hosted the great castle-cities of the Hyperboreans, it is now, mostly, an empty, windswept and barren wasteland covered in snow and fog, sometimes dotted with ancient ruins half buried by ice and snow. However, some life still survives in this ancient land destroyed by war, but not many still tread its ruined roads.
