Thule is a large island, surrounded by several tiny and mostly unhinabited islands, halfway between Bretannia's northern islands and the great land of Hyperborea; once, it was considered to be a colony or an outpost of the latter, and it is perhaps the last place where an image of the northern realm's ancient glory can still be seen. It is a mountainous, rocky islands, completely covered in forests; snow cloaks most of the island for the whole year, except in the three months of summer. Its jagged and winding shoreline is home to many fjords and small gulfs, and the whole land is dotted with the villages and castles of the Thuleans who have settled the land after the War of the Gods.
