Summary

Caucasia is the northernmost region of Lauria, the eastern landmass of the world. It lies on the northern edge of the continent, with the Stormsea dividing it from Hyperborea, and it is dominated by the mountains that share its name; to the northwest, it ends in the wide Sea of Serpents, and if one were to sail towards the west, he would arrive in Thule. Caucasia is subdivided into several regions, reflecting the clans of Hyperborea that settled there after Cain's War. It is a cold and harsh land, covered in forests and steep mountains; in the north, cold taigas rise from the sea while turning into steep mountains covered in forests running from west to east: to the south, the mountain range describe a wide arc, giving way to the plains of Eiriath. The Caucasians survive through agriculture, cattle farming, fishing, and trade.
