Vitulia is a city in the southern region of Caucasia, in the central part of Scythia. Its original core lies on a hill the middle of a dale, south of the waterfalls of the river Lyre, which flows southwards to meet the Stryx. The city extends towards the north and east, towards the Lyre, and towards the small lake directly south of the waterfall, north of the hill. While only the upper part of the city, on the hill, is protected by a wall, Vitulia relies on the hills and mountains surrounding it on three sides (north, east and west) for protection, while the southern side, dominated by the hills, is protected by the city's walls The city survived thanks to its position, granting it a mild climate and access to river trade on the Lyre. It is one of the largest cities in all Caucasia, and one of the few with a stone wall: it is governed by a council of clan leaders, and it rules over most of the tribes and villages of Scythia. Its insigna consists of a running, golden boar in a green field.
