Ool (Eye) a vast, circle shaped region of Hyron, which connects to the north to the triangular peninsula of Krondarak; the largest river is the Vesh, a stream of sludge and mud which connects to the sea near the city of Koras Eamin. Once, Ool was a massive volcano, which exploded catastrophically during the War of the Gods, leaving behind an even larger wasteland of ash. However, the eruption caused great amounts of iron, copper and other valuable ores to emerge near the surface, easy to mine after digging through the ash. The Bretannians now exploit this, and have created large ash-pits where slaves and workers dig endlessly, providing the empire's forges with a near inexhaustible source of metals, which are later transported down the Vesh, around which most ash-pits are located. This is arguably the Bretannians' most prized possession, and its shores are guarded with watchtowers and small docks, while to the south the fortresses of Krondarak stand vigilant against any intruder from the sea. Far from the Vesh river, however, the ancient race of the Teitan wanders the ashfields, now vassals of Bretannia's empire, and their great obelisks can be found dotting the wastes of Ool.
