The glass forest is quite a peculiar place indeed. Unlike most of the overworld, the soil here consists of many small smooth pebbles, about 2 meters deep.
From outside, it appears as if most of these pebbles are floating in mid air; in fact instead of trees, this forest has tons of cylindrical glass rods of varying sizes, all firmly planted vertically. These rods hold up some rocks, with many more being squeezed between rods.
Paths in the glass forest are incredibly well hidden; they are often nothing more than a continuing gap in the rods, disguised as air.
