Electrojazz or electro jazz is a genre of electronic music that originated in urban areas of the American South in the late 20th century. Electrojazz combines vintage jazz music with modern house, ambient, and electronic dance music. It heavily employs traditional instruments, in particular the saxophone, trumpet, and piano, as well as synthesizers and drum machines.

Though relatively obscure during its early years, the electrojazz genre has expanded rapidly since the turn of the millennium, especially with the success of bands such as the New Unknown and Five.
